I’ve received a lot of inquiries about cruising since the CDC’s recent announcement against cruising. My husband and I have sailed on 3 cruises since the end of October and I can personally tell you that cruise lines are going above and beyond to protect their crew and passengers against Covid. The cruises we've been on were not even at 50% capacity and the protocols in place are there to protect everyone onboard! A ship that has less than 1% positive cases onboard is not an "outbreak" as the media loves to claim. Covid is everywhere...whether you are at work, on an airplane, at a football game, or going to the grocery store. When you go on a cruise everyone onboard is not only vaccinated, but has also tested negative for covid 48 hours prior to getting onboard. Where else can you get that kind of protection right now? As we know, covid can still show up on a ship, but I'll continue to say that cruising is one of the safest ways to travel and I support the cruise industry 150% and look forward to our next cruise!!
